ABOUT Nuggles!™
Our little company was founded on big values, and we are proud of what we do best: provide outstanding products, amazing customer care, and a sustainable future.
Our company was founded on our kitchen table back in 2012. Thankfully, we had a really BIG kitchen table, so amidst all the fabric, design sketches, and samples, there were a few spots left to actually eat. We are grateful to now have a rather spacious home office where all the brainstorming and product development happen!
We produce quality, functional and smart products designed right here in Canada, by a mom who cares. It hasn't been easy, but our commitment to working with responsible and fair-wage production facilities worldwide, and keeping the roots of our company operations local means we are growing a brand and a business we can truly be proud of.
We want the WHOLE world to cloth diaper, so we're striving to keep our products SIMPLE. MODERN. GREEN. They are three little words that really mean a lot.
Our Production
Nuggles!™ and our production facilities overseas in Canada and overseas work hand-in-hand to ensure clean, safe, responsible, fair-wage manufacturing. We are proud to employ women and families in Canada and worldwide. Our company operations are based in Kamloops, B.C. Canada.
Our products are thoroughly tested in Canada prior to production. Our own babes see to it that our designs REALLY work, and we also work with some wonderful test moms who give us invaluable feedback through the design process. Our quality-control and packaging operation is held locally at our office in Kamloops, B.C. Canada. Each piece is carefully examined, and packaging is applied by hand.
Our Materials
It's important to have the assurance that the fabric and materials we use is produced safely, ethically, and maintains the highest quality. For this reason we have also hand-chosen our fabric supplier. We work with an American company who supplies designers and manufacturers across North America. Our supplier owns a small ISO-9000 certified factory in China where they produce the bamboo and bamboo/organic cotton blended fabric used in our bamboo diapers.
We chose this supplier for a few very important reasons: the owners themselves maintain a presence in their factory a minimum of 8 months of the year. The bamboo and cotton yarns they use are certified organic. All of their fabrics have passed class 1 flammable testing and have certification for OEKO testing for harmful chemicals and have passed all lead testing by INTERTEX according to CPSIA. Because they import the majority of the fabric they produce into the US, this testing is up-to-date and fully compliant. Also, we enjoy the ease of working directly with the owners themselves, who understand our high standards. We are really proud to be working with them!
Keeping It Local, Reducing our Footprint
Getting our products to market means we employ many local Canadian small businesses along the way.
Packaging: Our minimalistic packaging is designed with the help of an amazingly talented mom and business-owner, Karri-Ann @ sixty84 Designs in Kamloops, B.C. They are printed in British Columbia, using 100% recyclable materials. Our paper stock for much of our packaging is made from 100% recycled paper and printed with plant-based, bio mass inks.

Shipping: Products are shipped from our production facility to us in 100% post consumer recycled boxes, with no individual plastic wrapping. The same is true for our shipments to our retailers and customers. In many cases, boxes for shipping are reused.
Canadian operations: We keep our Office green, by using only 100% recycled paper and reducing the amount we print as much as possible. We recycle our ink cartridges and use high efficency lighting and heating/cooling systems. Our showroom consists of displays/furniture that are reclaimed, upcycled, and previously owned.
